Malaysia Airlines and Japan Airlines Deepen Codeshare Partnership
Following Malaysia Airlines’ recent announcement to start new direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo, Haneda on August 14, 2022, Japan Airlines (JAL) and Malaysia Airlines (MH) are thrilled to expand their codeshare operations. With the goal of better serving customers and promoting trade between Malaysia and Japan, this significant decision confirmed the strategic Joint Business agreement that both oneworld Alliance members had established in July 2020.

Customers travelling with Malaysia Airlines to Haneda from Malaysia, ASEAN, Australasia, and South Asia will be able to book and connect to a wider range of domestic Japanese destinations, such as Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Okinawa, as well as connect further to international destinations in North America.
